FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
June 2, 2026
LOGAN, Ohio – From winding pavement and gravel backroads to challenging off-road trails, the Hocking Hills region offers some of the best motorcycle riding in the Midwest. Hocking Valley Motorcycle Club has been sharing that experience with riders for more than five decades through events that showcase the area’s natural beauty while supporting the local community. In 2026, the club will once again host three popular riding experiences:
- The Dennisville Adventure Ride on June 7
- The Copperhead AMA National Dual Sport on August 1-2
- The Timber Rattler Fall Adventure Rally on October 17-18
Departing from Hocking Valley Motorcycle Club headquarters, located at 13121 Jake Tom Road, Logan, OH 43138, The Dennisville Adventure Ride will take adventure motorcyclists on a self-guided, 125-mile-plus ride featuring winding blacktop, gravel, and tar and chipped roads. Lunch, sponsored by Motohio, is included with event entry. It’s open to riders of all makes and models of street-legal bikes. A GPS download will be available at the event, or riders can choose to utilize a turn-by-turn paper route sheet. For more details, visit HockingValleyMC.com/adventure.
“The event is named in remembrance of Mike Dennis, a longtime club member, adventure rider and explorer,” said Hocking Valley Motorcycle Club Member Jim Keeny. “He would talk to anyone and take every opportunity to learn something new about the areas he was exploring. We hope that riders embrace that same spirit at this event.”

The Copperhead AMA National Dual Sport will launch from the same location. Each day includes more than 50 miles of private single-track trails, featuring challenging and optional “hero” options. Lunch is provided each day, and Saturday dinner is included for two-day participants. Primitive camping is available onsite, or riders are invited to stopover at nearby accommodations. For additional information, visit HockingValleyMC.com/dual-sport.
“The energy behind The Copperhead has never been higher,” said Hocking Valley Motorcycle Club President Justin Schwartz. “Last year was a record-breaker for us, drawing talent from 15 different states to the heart of Southern Ohio. It’s clear that the word is out: if you want the best riding in the region, this is where you find it. Because these trails only open once a year, we feel a real responsibility to make every mile count. Our crew has been on the ground for months already, working to outdo last year’s course. They’re also ensuring our riders, sponsors and landowners all feel that sense of pride in what we’ve built together. This isn’t just a local tradition anymore. It’s a national destination.”
The season concludes with The Timber Rattler Fall Adventure Rally will take riders on a route of around 100 miles each day in the prime of fall colors in Hocking Hills. Marketed as a more challenging adventure route, there are also bypasses marked for less experienced adventure riders who want to avoid sticky situations or simply have a more relaxed ride. Lunch will be provided both days, as well as dinner on Saturday night. Primitive camping is available onsite, or riders are invited to stopover at nearby accommodations. For additional information, visit HockingValleyMC.com/fall-adv-rally.
