FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LOGAN, Ohio –
The Hocking Hills region, nestled in southeastern Ohio, is known for its beautiful scenery, winding roads and off-road trails. It’s a well-loved location for motorcyclists and a place where Hocking Valley Motorcycle Club has hosted events and contributed to the local community for more than 50 years. This summer, the club will welcome riders to two signature events: the Dennisville Adventure Ride on June 1 and The Copperhead AMA National Dual Sport on August 2–3.

Starting at Hocking Valley Motorcycle Club headquarters, located at 13121 Jake Tom Road, Logan, OH 43138, the newly re-branded Dennisville Adventure Ride will take two-wheel lovers on a self-guided, 101-mile ride featuring hand-picked blacktop, gravel and tar and chipped roads. Lunch, sponsored by Motohio, is included. It’s open to riders of all makes and models of street-legal bikes. A GPS download will be available at the event or riders can opt for a turn-by-turn paper route sheet. Save with pre-registration: $45 per rider and an additional $15 for a passenger. For more details, visit HockingValleyMC.com/adventure.

“The unique thing about this adventure ride is that, for the first time in our 15-year history, this is a memorial,” said Hocking Valley Motorcycle Club Member Jim Keeny. “The Dennisville Adventure Ride is named after Mike Dennis, who was a longtime club member and extraordinary adventure rider and explorer. He logged countless hours exploring every nook and cranny of several states — most often living off his bike alone. He never met a stranger or missed a chance to learn something about the area and its history.”

The Copperhead AMA National Dual Sport, to be held August 2-3, will begin at the same location. Each day includes over 50 miles of private trails, featuring fresh single-track sections and challenging, optional “hero” options. Lunch is provided each day, and Saturday dinner is included for two-day participants. Primitive camping is available onsite, or riders are invited to stay at nearby accommodations. Early-bird pre-entry is available for $75/day or $125/weekend. Prices increase closer to the event. For additional information, visit HockingValleyMC.com/dual-sport.

“The Copperhead riders just keep coming—and spreading the word!” said Hocking Valley Motorcycle Club President Justin Schwartz. “Last year was our biggest turnout yet. It’s not just locals anymore—we had riders from 15 different states, which really shows how much attention this event is getting. For decades, Southern Ohio has been known for great riding, and we believe this event helps to support that claim. This is the only time of year these trails are open, so it’s a rare chance to hit some fun and varied terrain. Our crew works hard every year to make it even better than the last. We want everyone to leave feeling like they got their money’s worth and had a blast. With great sponsors, a supportive local community and amazing landowners, it’s an event you don’t want to miss.”

Current sponsors for the adventure ride are Motohio and BMW Motorrad. Sponsors for the dual sport include Bullet Proof Designs, Canvas MX, Clinton County Motorsports, Cardo, Enduro Engineering, Evil Coffee, Iron Pony, Kenda, Lancaster Sport Cycles, Molecule Motorsports, P3, Protune Suspension, Rocky Mountain ATV/MC, Ryno Power, Scott, Tubliss, Viking Bags, Wheelsports.
