LOGAN, Ohio –
Southern Ohio has some of the best backroads and trails to explore on two wheels, and Hocking Valley Motorcycle Club members have once again put together two unique events that will satisfy the adventure-seeker in us all. The club will host its annual adventure ride on June 2 and The Copperhead AMA National Dual Sport on August 3-4.

The adventure ride will depart from Hocking Valley Motorcycle Club, located at 13121 Jake Tom Rd, Logan, OH 43138. It’s open to all makes and models of street-legal bikes and will traverse more than 100 miles of blacktop, gravel and tar and chipped roads in the Hocking Hills region.

A GPS download will be available at the event or riders can opt for a turn-by-turn paper route sheet. Riders will enjoy a lunch sponsored by Motohio. Pre-registration is $45, and an additional $15 for a passenger. Onsite entry is $10 more. For additional details, visit HockingValleyMC.com/adventure.

“Since the 1970s, club members have donated their time and energy to creating rides and races for others to enjoy,” said Hocking Valley Motorcycle Club Member Jim Keeny. “Our self-guided adventure ride attracts more than 100 people each year, and the feedback we get from riders is that they will be back. And they do come back! It doesn’t matter if you’re a new or experienced adventure rider, it’s a great place to meet new people or reconnect with old friends while enjoying a day on your motorcycle.”

The Copperhead AMA National Dual Sport will also depart from the clubgrounds. Riders can primitive camp at the location (tent or RV) or stay at nearby accommodations. They will be treated to more than 80-miles of riding each day, with loads of single-track and optional challenging hero sections. There will also be a campfire, activities and several motorcycle product giveaways on Saturday night.

Early Bird Pre-Entry is open through July 5. It’s $75 for a single-day entry that includes lunch. Two-day entry is $125 and includes a t-shirt and Saturday night dinner. Prices increase after July 5. For additional information, visit HockingValleyMC.com/dual-sport.

“In addition to the land that the club owns, we also have established positive relationships with nearby land-owners who allow us to create trails on their property exclusively for this national dual sport,” said Hocking Valley Motorcycle Club President Kevin Masters. “These challenging single-track trails cannot be ridden during any other time. We encourage off-road riders to join us for a fun weekend in the woods.”

Current sponsors for the adventure ride include Motohio. Sponsors for the dual sport are Enduro Engineering, TUbliss, Giant Loop, Ryno Power, Bullet Proof, Mosko Moto, P3, Iron Pony, Rocky Mountain ATV/MC, Pro Class Arrows.
